It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the slave of Sayyiduna Hatib bin Abi Balta'ah came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a complaint against his master and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Hatib will surely enter Hell." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You are wrong; he will not enter Hell because he participated in the battles of Badr and Hudaybiyyah."
