Hadith 11301

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ بَعْثًا إِلَى لَحْيَانَ بْنِ هُذَيْلٍ ، قَالَ : " لِيَنْبَعِثْ مِنْ كُلِّ رَجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا ، وَالْأَجْرُ بَيْنَهُمَا " . (حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مُدِّنَا وَصَاعِنَا ، وَاجْعَلْ الْبَرَكَةَ بَرَكَتَيْنِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent this message to Banu Lihyan: One man out of every two should go out for jihad, and both will receive the reward. Then he said: O Allah! Grant blessing in our mudd and saa', and double this blessing.
