Hadith 10849

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ , عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَسْتَامُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ , وَلَا يَخْطُبْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that a man should send his proposal of marriage over the proposal of his brother, and should not sell over the sale of his brother.
