Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us, he informed us: Abu Khaythamah, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir. And Ahmad ibn Yunus narrated to us, he said: Zuhayr narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Jabir, who said: "We went out with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on a journey, and we were rained upon, so he said: 'Let whoever among you wishes pray in his resting place.'"

1065. Commentary:
In such situations, there is a concession regarding the congregational prayer. That is, a person may perform the prayer alone, without the congregation, or even in their homes. However, there is certainly greater virtue in being present (for the congregation).
