It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) said: When I was taken for the night journey I met Moses (ؑ) peace be upon him). The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) gave his description thus: He was a man, I suppose-and he (the narrator) was somewhat doubtful (that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) observed): ( Moses (ؑ)) was a man erect in stature with straight hair on his head as it he was one of the men of the Shanu'a; and I met Jesus and the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) described him as one having a medium stature and a red complexion as if he had (just) come out of the bath He observed: I saw Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and amongst his children I have the greatest resemblance with him. He said: There were brought to me two vessels. In one of them was milk and in the other one there was wine. And it was said to me: Select any one you like. So I selected the vessel containing milk and drank it. He (the angel) said: You have been guided on al-fitra or you have attained al-fitra. Had you selected wine, your Ummah would have been misled.
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was presented two cups at Bait al-Maqdis on the night of Heavenly Journey, one containing wine and the other containing milk. He looked at both of them, and be took the one containing milk, whereupon Gabriel (ؑ) (peace be upon him) said: Praise is due to Allah Who guided you to the true nature; had you taken the one containing wine, your Umma would have gone astray.
This hadith is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) through another chain of transmitters, but he did not mention Aelia (Capitolina. i. e. Bait al-Maqdis).

Derived from "darb" (to strike),
meaning lean,
thin and slender.

Derived from "dams,"
which means
to hide in the dust,
"deemas" means
bathhouse,
cellar,
grave,
the intended meaning is the freshness and radiance of the face.
Benefits and Issues:
In this hadith, Jesus (alayhis salam) is described as "ahmar" (red-complexioned),
and in the narration of Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu), it is stated "ilā al-humrah wa al-bayād" (reddish and white),
meaning white with a reddish tinge,
therefore in some places, "adam" (wheat-colored) has been mentioned.

In some manuscripts of Sahih al-Bukhari, this narration is reported from Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu).

In this hadith, it is stated regarding Isa (alayhis salam) that he was of medium stature and had a reddish complexion.
In another hadith it is mentioned:
The Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
Allah, the Exalted, showed me (in a dream) last night near the Ka‘bah. I saw a man who was of such a wheat-colored complexion that among those of wheat-colored complexion, there was none better than him.
The hair of his head hung below his earlobes and fell between his shoulders.
However, his hair was straight.
Water was dripping from his head.
He was performing tawaf of the House of Allah, placing both his hands on the shoulders of two men.

The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was presented with the pure wine (sharab tahur) of Paradise, but in terms of this world, its interpretation is exactly as Jibril (alayhis salam) explained; otherwise, it is impossible that impure and filthy wine would be presented to him. Therefore, the wine that was presented should be understood as "sharab tahur," which is entirely befitting to your rank of Prophethood.

Hadith Commentary:
In a narration from Abdullah ibn Umar (radi Allahu anhu), it is reported that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Musa (alayhis salam) was wheat-colored, tall in stature, and his hair was straight, as if he was a member of the tribe of Zutt.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Ahadith al-Anbiya, Hadith: 3438)
In the hadith of Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu), the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) likened Musa (alayhis salam), in terms of height, to the people of the tribe of Shanu’ah. And in the narration from Ibn Umar (radi Allahu anhuma), he was also described as resembling the people of the tribe of Zutt in terms of being tall, because the Abyssinians are tall.
There is no contradiction or opposition between these two hadiths.
