It is narrated on the authority of Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There appeared before me the apostles, and Moses (ؑ) was among men as if he was one of the people of Shanu'a, and I saw Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him) and I saw nearest in resemblance with him was 'Urwa bin Mas'ud, and I saw Ibrahim (blessings of Allah be upon him) and I see your companions much in resemblance with him, i. e. his personality, and I saw Gabriel (ؑ) (peace be upon him) and I saw Dihya nearest in resemblance to him; but in the narration of Ibn Rumh it is Dihya bin Khalifa.

Hadith Commentary: Vocabulary of the Hadith: : Ḍarbun: Lean in flesh, Light in build, From this comes the meaning "restless."
Benefits and Issues: The appearance and form of Ibrahim (alayhis salam) was like yours, Therefore, the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "If you wish to see Ibrahim (alayhis salam), then look at your companion, that is, look at me."

´Narrated Jabir:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The Prophets were presented to me, and Musa was a thin man, it was as if he was from the men of Shanu'ah. And I saw 'Eisa bin Mariam, and the closest of the people in resemblance to him. from those I have seen, is 'Urwah bin Mas'ud. And I saw Ibrahim, and the closest of the people in resemblance to him, from those I have seen, is your companion" - meaning himself - "And I saw Jibril, and the closest of the people in resemblance to him, from those I have seen, is Dihyah." [And he is Ibn Khalifah Al-Kalbi.]

Explanation: 1: That is, the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) himself. In this, the description of his (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) appearance is such that he (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) resembled Ibrahim (alayhis salam) in form and features.
