Hadith 132

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that some people from amongst the Companions of the Apostle (ﷺ) came to him and said: Verily we perceive in our minds that which every one of us considers it too grave to express. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Do you really perceive it? They said: Yes. Upon this he remarked: That is the faith manifest.

Benefits and Issues:

These thoughts refer to such doubts towards which Satan gradually leads a person, bringing him to the question: "Who created Allah?"

A believer’s vigilance regarding his own faith is a sign of his being a sincere believer, and the occurrence of such thoughts is not harmful—
provided that a person strives to repel (drive away) them.
