Hadith 39067
٣٩٠٦٧ - حدثنا عبد العزيز بن عبد الصمد العمي عن مطر عن عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا طلاق (إلا بعد نكاح، [ولا عتق) (١) إلا بعد ملك] (٢) " (٣).
Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Divorce does not occur except after marriage, and freedom does not occur except after ownership.
Hadith 39068
٣٩٠٦٨ - حدثنا حماد بن خالد عن هشام بن سعد عن الزهري عن عروة عن عائشة قالت: لا طلاق إلا بعد (نكاح) (١) (٢).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Divorce does not take place except after marriage.
Hadith 39069
٣٩٠٦٩ - [حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن محمد بن المنكدر عمن سمع طاوسا يقول قال: النبي ﷺ (١): "لا طلاق إلا بعد نكاح"] (٢) (٣).
Hazrat Tawoos narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Divorce does not occur except after marriage.
Hadith 39070
٣٩٠٧٠ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن ليث عن عبد الملك بن ميسرة عن النزال بن (سبرة) (١) عن علي قال: لا طلاق إلا بعد نكاح (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Divorce does not occur except after marriage. And (Imam) Abu Hanifa's opinion has been mentioned that: If someone swears an oath to divorce a woman and then marries that woman, the woman will be divorced.
