Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated about Hazrat Amr bin Maymoon that he used to say: Hasten to act in four things: in your life before death, in your health before illness, in your free time before becoming occupied, and the fourth I do not remember.

It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Maymoon regarding the Divine Command { لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ }. He, may Allah have mercy on him, said: (By this is meant) Paradise.

It is narrated about Hazrat Amr bin Maymoon that a nail was fixed in the wall of the mosque for him, and when he became tired from standing in prayer and standing became difficult for him, he would support himself by holding onto that nail, or a rope would be tied to it and then he would stand with its support.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ishaq that he says Hazrat Amr bin Maymoon performed sixty Hajj and Umrah.

It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Maymoon regarding the Divine Command { ذَلِکَ بِأَنَّہُمْ کَرِہُوا مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّہُ فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالَہُمْ }). He said: (By this is meant) the obligatory duties.

It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Maimoon that he says: From between the flesh and skin of the disbeliever, terrifying sounds of insects will be heard like the uproar and commotion of wild beasts.

It is narrated from Hanish that he says: I saw Amr bin Maymoon, and there was a sound from his chest.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Balaj that he says: Whenever Hazrat Amr met any of his brothers, he would say: Last night Allah Almighty granted me the ability to perform this much prayer, and last night Allah Almighty granted me the ability to do this much good.
