Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would very rarely travel except on Thursdays.

It is narrated from Hazrat Wasil (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to set out on journeys on Thursdays.

It is narrated from Hazrat Sakhr Al-Ghamidi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed: "O Allah! Grant blessing to my Ummah in their early morning hours." Whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent out an army or a detachment, he would send them at the beginning of the morning. Sakhr, who was a trader and the nephew of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), used to send his trade caravans in the early morning, and his wealth (profits) increased greatly.

It is narrated from Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed in these words: O Allah! Grant blessings to my Ummah in their morning hours.

It is also narrated in a similar manner from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).
