Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Ibn Sirin say that whoever participates in jihad, whether free, slave, or laborer, has a share in the spoils of war.

Hasan, Hazrat Ibn Sirin, and Hazrat Hakam state that if a slave or a laborer participates in jihad, they should be given a share from the spoils of war.

Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him) says that if a merchant and a slave participate in jihad, a share in the spoils will be allocated for them.

Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib says that the slave will be given a share.

Hazrat Abu Qarah says that just as a share was allotted for my master, in the same way Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) allotted a share for me.

Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him) says that if the army of Islam attains spoils of war and there are traders and slaves present to assist them, then they should also be given a share in the spoils along with the army.
