Those Who Say That a Horseman Receives Two Shares
Hadith 35397
٣٥٣٩٧ - حدثنا معاذ قال: أخبرنا حبيب بن شهاب عن أبيه عن أبي موسى أنه أسهم للفارس سهمين، وأسهم للراجل سهمًا (١).
Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) allotted two shares for a horseman and one share for a foot soldier.
Hadith 35398
٣٥٣٩٨ - حدثنا يونس بن محمد قال: ثنا مجمع بن (١) يعقوب قال: أخبرني (أبي) (٢) عن عمه عبد الرحمن بن يزيد عن مجمع بن (جارية) (٣) قال: شهدنا الحديبية مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ فقسمت (٤) على ثمانية عشر سهمًا، وكان الجيش ألفا وخمسمائة: ثلاثمائة فارس، فكان للفارس سهمان (٥).
Hazrat Majma' bin Jariyah narrates that we participated with the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) in the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. Eighteen shares were distributed. The number of Muslim soldiers was fifteen hundred. Three hundred horsemen received shares; each horseman received two shares.
Hadith 35399
٣٥٣٩٩ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن أبي إسحاق (عن) (١) هانئ (بن هانئ) (٢) عن علي قال: للفارس سهمان (٣).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the horseman will receive two shares. Hazrat Shu’bah said that I found this written.
