Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to go towards those mounds.

Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Alqamah (may Allah have mercy on him) and Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila (may Allah have mercy on him) set out towards their nomadic tribe.

Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Alqamah (may Allah have mercy on him) used to stay at a mound in the wilderness.

Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) bin Aqmar (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) and Hazrat Urwah bin Mughira (may Allah have mercy on him) set out towards their nomadic tribe.

Hazrat Salih bin Saad (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I set out with Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz towards the place of Suwaida, living as a nomad.

Hazrat Khalid narrates that Hazrat Muawiyah bin Qurrah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It used to be said that nomadism lasts for up to two months, and whoever stays longer than that becomes a villager.

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever resides in the wilderness becomes harsh, and whoever pursues hunting becomes heedless.

Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that we stayed in the desert with Hazrat Alqamah, and Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila (may Allah have mercy on him) was also nearby.
