ما قالوا: في العبيد يأبقون إلى أرض العدو
Those Who Spoke Regarding Slaves Who Flee to Enemy Lands
Hadith 35063
٣٥٠٦٣ - حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن الأوزاعي عن (عبدة) (١) بن أبي لبابة أنه قال في العبد إذا أبق إلى أرض العدو: لا (يقبل) (٢) حتى يأوي إلى (حرز) (٣) ويرد إلى مولاه.
Imam Awza'i (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Hazrat 'Abdah bin Abi Lubabah (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the slave who flees towards the land of the enemy: None of his deeds will be accepted until he takes refuge in a secure place and returns to his master.
Hadith 35064
٣٥٠٦٤ - حدثنا وكيع قال: (ثنا) (١) سفيان عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن المغيرة ابن لثمبل عن جرير بن عبد اللَّه قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إذا أبق العبد إلى (أرض) (٢) العدو برئت منه الذمة" (٣).
Hazrat Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a slave runs away towards the land of the enemy, his responsibility is absolved.
Hadith 35065
٣٥٠٦٥ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن الحسن بن عبيد اللَّه عن الشعبي عن جرير قال: مع كل أبقة كفرة (١).
Imam Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Every deserter is a disbeliever.
Hadith 35066
٣٥٠٦٦ - حدثنا وكيع قال: (ثنا) (١) يونس بن أبي إسحاق عن عامر عن جرير قال: إذا أبق إلى العدو فقد حل دمه - (يعني) (٢) إلى دار الحرب (٣).
Hazrat Aamir (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Jareer bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When a person flees towards the enemy, that is, flees towards the land of war, then indeed his blood has become lawful.
Hadith 35067
٣٥٠٦٧ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن مجالد عن عامر عن جرير عن النبي ﷺ قال: "أيما عبد أبق إلى أرض العدو فقد برئت منه الذمة" (١).
Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever among the slaves runs away towards the land of the enemy, then indeed his protection is void.
