Those Who Said: If a Captive Makes a Statement While Imprisoned, Is He Held Accountable Upon Return?
Hadith 35043
٣٥٠٤٣ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن (المبارك) (١) عن ابن جريج عن عطاء قال: لا يؤخذ بما أحدث هناك -يعني الأسير يؤسر فيحدث.
Hazrat Ibn Jurayj (may Allah have mercy on him) states that Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) said: He will not be held accountable there for revealing secrets, meaning if someone is taken captive and he reveals secrets before the enemy.
