Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Hammad (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) stated: When Jewish and Christian women are taken captive, Islam will be presented to them. Then, whether they accept Islam or not, intercourse with them is permissible and they can also be taken into service.

Hazrat Laith (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Whoever keeps a polytheist slave-girl, he should make her declare "La ilaha illallah" (There is no god but Allah). If she refuses to declare it, then this does not prevent him from having intercourse with her.

Hazrat Burd (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Mak'hool (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding that man: when he has a Jewish or Christian slave woman, he is permitted to have intercourse with her.

Hazrat Muammar (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Imam Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) stated: When a person has a slave-girl who is from the People of the Book, he has the option to have intercourse with her, and he can compel her to perform ghusl (ritual bath).

Yunus (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It is permissible to have intercourse with a Jewish or Christian slave woman.
