Hadith 34795
Hazrat Abu Al-Ashhab (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him): O Abu Saeed! If a man is naked of clothes, can he wear the clothes from the spoils of war? Or if he is unarmed, can he take up weapons? He (may Allah have mercy on him) replied: He may do so, and then when the spoils of war are being distributed, he should present that item.
Hadith 34796

Hazrat Waki’ (may Allah have mercy on him) says that he heard Hazrat Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) saying: When Muslims keep weapons and animals from the spoils of war, and they wish to seek help from them and are in need of them, then there is no harm in it even if they did not take permission from the leader.
Hadith 34797
Hazrat Abu Ubaidah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: On the day of the Battle of Badr, I reached Abu Jahl, the accursed, in such a state that his leg was cut off and he was half-dead. And he was defending himself from people with his sword. So I said: All praise is for Allah who has humiliated and disgraced you, O enemy of Allah. He said: There is no man except that his own people have killed him. He (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I began to probe him with my small sword, so I shook his hand and his sword fell. I picked up his sword and killed him, until he became cold.
