Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Juhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us at the place of Abtah, in such a state that he was wearing a red cloak. He (peace be upon him) asked: Who are you people? We replied: We are people from the tribe of Banu Aamir. He (peace be upon him) said: Welcome. You are from me.

Hazrat Nazzal, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Surely, we and you were called Banu Abd Manaf in the days of ignorance. So today, we are also Banu Abd Allah and you are also Banu Abd Allah.

Hazrat Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Suffice me against 'Amir bin Tufail, and grant guidance to the tribe of Banu 'Amir bin Sa'sa'ah.

Hazrat Khushram Jafari (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Amir bin Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) sent a messenger to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to request medicine or a cure for an illness. So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent honey or a bag of honey to him.
