Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakrah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father that his father, Hazrat Abu Bakrah (may Allah have mercy on him), said: Hazrat Aqra’ bin Habis (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Indeed, from you, O Messenger of Allah, the thieves of the tribes of Aslam, Ghifar, Muzainah... the narrator says... I think he also mentioned the tribe of Juhainah... have pledged allegiance. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What is your opinion if the people of the tribes of Aslam, Ghifar, and Juhainah are better than the people of the tribes of Banu Tamim, Banu Amir, Asad, and Ghatafan, then are those people not in loss and harm? He (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Yes! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then, by Him in Whose hand is my soul, surely they are better than them.

And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prolonged his voice while saying this. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Then those people will be at loss and in harm. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, these are the better people.
