Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Muhammad bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him, may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fatimah is a part of my body. So whoever angers her has angered me.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I asked Hazrat Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her): I saw you when you leaned towards the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) during his illness before his passing, and then you started to cry. Then you leaned towards him again, and the second time you laughed?! She (may Allah be pleased with her) replied: When I leaned towards him the first time, he (peace and blessings be upon him) told me that he was about to pass away, so I cried. Then I leaned towards him again, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) told me that I would be the first among his family to join him, and that I am the leader of all the women of Paradise except Maryam bint Imran. So at this, I laughed.

Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I came to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then he (peace be upon him) went outside. I searched for him (peace be upon him), and he (peace be upon him) said: An angel had come who sought permission from his Lord to send blessings and peace upon me, and he informed me that Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) is the leader of the women of Paradise.

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would go out for the Fajr prayer in the morning, he would pass by the house of Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) for six months and say: "O people of the house! It is time for prayer." Then he would say: "Indeed, Allah only desires to remove impurity from you, O people of the household, and to purify you completely."

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) is the leader of the women of all the worlds, after Maryam bint Imran, Asiya the wife of Pharaoh, and Khadijah bint Khuwaylid.

Hazrat Aamir, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates that Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, sent a marriage proposal for Abu Jahl’s daughter through her uncle Harith bin Hisham. Then he, may Allah be pleased with him, also consulted the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding this matter. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, asked: Are you asking me about her lineage? Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, replied: I know what her lineage is. But do you, O Messenger of Allah, permit me (to marry her)? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: No! Fatimah is a part of my body, and I do not like that she be distressed. Upon this, Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said: I will not do anything that you, O Messenger of Allah, dislike.
