Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Neither the earth gives shelter nor the sky provides shade to any person more truthful than Abu Dharr."

Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Neither does the sky provide shade nor does the earth offer refuge to anyone more truthful in speech than Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him).

Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Neither the sky has ever shaded nor the earth has ever carried a man more truthful in speech than Abu Dharr. And whoever wishes to see the humility and modesty of Hazrat Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him), he should look at Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him).

Hazrat Iraq bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Certainly, among all of you, I will be closest to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Day of Resurrection in terms of gathering. This is because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, the one among you who will be closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the person who leaves this world in the same state as I left him in this world. And certainly, by Allah! There is not a single person among you except me, but that he has clung to something of this world.
