Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Mutarrif narrates from Sha'bi, and Yunus narrates from Hasan, he said: His inheritance is for the Muslims, and his liability is upon them.

Dawud bin Abi Abdullah narrates that we had a wet nurse whose son had accepted Islam at our hands. He died and left behind wealth. I asked Hazrat Sha'bi, and he said: "Give it to his mother."

Mutarrif narrates from Sha’bi that he said: “There is no wala’ except for the one who does a favor.”

Yunus reports from Hasan regarding the man who forms an alliance (muwalat) with another man, and that person accepts Islam at his hand. He said that he will not be his heir, except that if he wishes, he can make a bequest for him of the entire wealth.
