Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Muhammad bin Salim says that I heard Ibrahim and Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on them) explaining this matter: "Those who drowned should be made heirs of one another." They said that when one of the two heirs dies leaving behind wealth and the other dies without leaving any wealth, then the heirs of the one who did not leave any wealth will inherit from the one who left wealth, and the one who left wealth will not receive anything.
