Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sufyan narrates from a man, he said that I have not seen anyone more noble than Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). He was asked about the issue of two daughters, parents, and a wife, so he said that the wife's eighth share has been changed to a ninth. Hazrat Abu Bakr says that this issue will be solved from twenty-seven shares: sixteen shares for the two daughters, eight shares for the parents, and three shares for the wife.

33300 - Abu Bakr said: So these are from twenty-seven shares: for the two daughters, sixteen shares; for the two parents, eight; and for the woman, three.
