Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibrahim states that according to the opinion of Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him), the grandson returns (the inheritance) to those below him and those above him, on the principle that one male will be given a share equal to that of two females. And according to the opinion of Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), when two-thirds of the wealth is completed, nothing will be given to the granddaughters.
