Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ata reports the statement of Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that there is no "awl" (increase in shares causing reduction in proportions) in the shares of inheritance.

Ibrahim reports regarding Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that these personalities accept "Aul" in inheritance.

Muhammad bin Sirin narrates that Hazrat Shurayh gave a ruling regarding the case of two full sisters, two maternal sisters, a husband, and a mother, that it will be divided into ten shares: four shares for the two full sisters, two shares for the two maternal sisters, three shares for the husband, and one share for the mother. Waki’ says that people hold this same opinion, and this is also the division of Ibn al-Farrookh, may Allah have mercy on him.
