Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Ash'ath that Hazrat Sha'bi said: When two or three people from among the heirs give testimony, this testimony will be considered as an acknowledgment on their part.

Hakam and Hammad narrate from Ibrahim that the debt will be applied to the heirs according to the share of inheritance they receive.

It is narrated from Ash'ath that Hasan said: Both witnesses are Muslims, therefore their testimony will be binding upon all the heirs.

It is narrated from Hakam that Ibrahim said: When two heirs give testimony, the debt will be obligatory upon their shares, and Hakam himself says that the debt will be obligatory upon all the heirs.

It is narrated from Mansur that Hazrat Harith said: When two heirs testify to a debt for a person, then his debt will be given to him.

Yunus narrates that Hasan said: When any heir gives testimony, the debt will become applicable to all the heirs.
