One Who Makes a Bequest After Intending to Travel—How Much Can He Dispose of?
Hadith 33013
٣٣٠١٣ - حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن شعبة عن مغيرة عن سماك عن الشعبي قال: (إذا) (١) وضع رجله في (الغرز) (٢) فما أوصى به فهو من الثلث.
Simak narrates that Hazrat Sha'bi said: When a person puts his foot in the stirrup, then whatever bequest he makes at that time will be fulfilled from one third of his wealth.
Hadith 33014
٣٣٠١٤ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا سفيان عن جابر عن الشعبي عن شريح قال: إذا وضع رجله في الغرز فما تكلم به من شيء فهو من ثلثه.
It is narrated from Sha'bi that Hazrat Shurayh said: When a person puts his foot in the stirrup, then whatever he says about his wealth at that time will be fulfilled from one third of his wealth.
Hadith 33015
٣٣٠١٥ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن مغيرة عن سماك عن الشعبي عن مسروق أنه قال: إذا وضع الرجل رجله في الغرز -يقول: إذا سافر- فما أوصى به فهو من الثلث.
Shu'bi narrates that Hazrat Masruq said: When a person puts his foot in the stirrup, then whatever will he makes at that time regarding one third of his wealth will be fulfilled.
