Hadith 32953
٣٢٩٥٣ - حدثنا أبو أسامة قال: حدثنا هشام (عن أبيه) (١) أن عبد اللَّه بن مسعود وعثمان والمقداد بن الأسود وعبد الرحمن بن عوف ومطيع بن الأسود أوصوا إلى الزبير بن العوام (٢).
Hazrat Urwah states that Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), Uthman, Miqdad bin Aswad, Abdur Rahman bin Awf, and Muti' bin Aswad (may Allah be pleased with them) had appointed Hazrat Zubair bin Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) as the executor of their wills, and Abdur Rahman bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) appointed me as the executor of his will.
Hadith 32955
٣٢٩٥٥ - (١) حدثنا أزهر (عن) (٢) ابن عون عن نافع عن ابن عمر كان ⦗٢١٣⦘ (وصيًا) (٣) لرجل (٤).
Nafi' reports that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) had taken responsibility for the execution of a man's will.
Hadith 32956
٣٢٩٥٦ - حدثنا عباد بن العوام عن ابن عون قال: أوصى إليّ ابن عم لي، (قال) (١): فكرهت ذلك، فسألت عمرا فأمرني أن أقبلها.
Ibn Aun narrates that one of my paternal cousins made me responsible for a will, and I expressed my dislike for it. After that, I asked Hazrat Amr about this matter, and he instructed me to accept this responsibility. He states that Muhammad bin Sirin also used to take on the responsibility of a will.
Hadith 32958
٣٢٩٥٨ - (حدثنا أبو أسامة) (١) عن إسماعيل عن قيس قال: كان أبو (عبيد) (٢) (عبر) (٣) (الفرات) (٤) فأوصى إلى عمر بن الخطاب (٥).
Qais narrates that Hazrat Abu Ubaid crossed the Euphrates, and he had appointed Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) as his executor.
Hadith 32959
٣٢٩٥٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن إسرائيل عن أبي الهيثم قال: بعث إلي إبراهيم فأوصى إليّ.
Abu Al-Haytham says that Ibrahim sent a message and appointed me as his executor (wasi).
