One Who Bequeaths His Horse to Someone and a Third of His Wealth to Another, and the Horse Equals a Third
Hadith 32911
٣٢٩١١ - حدثنا عمر عن يونس عن الزهري في رجل أوصى لرجل بفرس وسماه، وقال: ثلث مالي لفلان وفلان، وكان الفرس (كفاف) (١) ثلث ماله، قال الزهري: نرى أن يقسم ثلث ماله على حصصهم.
Yunus narrates from Zuhri regarding the man who made a bequest of a horse for someone and said that one third of my wealth is for such and such persons, while his horse was equal to one third of his wealth. Zuhri says that in our opinion, one third of his wealth should be divided equally among their shares.
Hadith 32912
٣٢٩١٢ - حدثنا هشيم عن بعض أصحابه عن (الحسن) (١) أنه قال في رجل أوصى (بدراهم) (٢) وبالسدس ونحوه قال: يتحاصون جميعًا.
It is narrated from Hasan that he said regarding the man who made a bequest of dirhams for someone, a bequest of one-sixth of the wealth for someone, and made other such bequests, that all the shares will be distributed among them.
