Those Who Dislike Bequeathing the Equivalent of an Heir's Share, and Those Who Permit It
Hadith 32836
٣٢٨٣٦ - حدثنا (أبو بكر قال حدثنا) (١): سفيان عن منصور عن إبراهيم قال: كانوا يكرهون أن يوصي الرجل بمثل نصيب أحد الورثة حتى يكون أقل.
It is narrated from Mansur that Ibrahim said: The scholars disliked that a person should make a bequest for someone equal to the share of an heir; rather, they said that the bequest should be less than the share of an heir.
Hadith 32837
٣٢٨٣٧ - حدثنا إسحاق بن منصور قال: ثنا (عمارة) (١) الصيدلاني عن (ثابت) (٢) عن أنس أنه أوصى بمثل نصيب أحد ولده (٣).
Thabit narrates that Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) had made a bequest of wealth for one of his children equal to the share of a child.
