Hadith 32788
٣٢٧٨٨ - (١) حدثنا ابن مبارك عن يعقوب عن عطاء وقتادة.
Matar Hasan narrates regarding the man who made a will for the children of his uncle, among whom are both men and women, the scholars say that in such a case, a man will be given a share equal to that of a woman. However, if he has said that a man should be given a share equal to that of two women, then it is possible that it should be done as such.
Hadith 32789
٣٢٧٨٩ - وعن مطر عن الحسن في رجل أوصى لبني عمه رجال ونساء قالوا: للذكر مثل حظ الأنثى إلا أن يكون، قال: للذكر مثل حظ الأنثيين.
32789 - And from Matar, from Al-Hasan, regarding a man who bequeathed to his paternal cousins, men and women, they said: The male has the share of the female, unless he said: The male has the share of two females.
Hadith 32790
٣٢٧٩٠ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن طلحة بن الأعلم الحنفي عن الشعبي أن رجلًا أوصى (لأرامل) (١) بني حنيفة فقال الشعبي: هو للرجال والنساء ممن خرج من كمرة حنيفة.
Talha bin A'lam Hanafi narrates from Hazrat Sha'bi that a man made a bequest for the widows of the tribe of Banu Hanifa. Hazrat Sha'bi said: This bequest is for every man and woman who is from the lineage of Hanifa.
