From the Companions of Ibn Mas'ud Who Used to Teach the Qur'an
Hadith 32307
٣٢٣٠٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن منصور عن إبراهيم قال: (كان) (١) أصحاب عبد اللَّه الذين يفتون ويقرأون القرآن علقمة والأسود وعبيدة ومسروقا وعمرو بن شرحبيل والحارث بن قيس.
Hazrat Mansur narrates that Ibrahim said: These were the people among the companions of Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) who used to give fatwas and teach the Qur'an: Alqamah, Aswad, Ubaidah, Masruq, Amr bin Shurahbil, and Harith bin Qais.
Hadith 32308
٣٢٣٠٨ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش (عن مسلم) (١) عن مسروق قال: كان عبد اللَّه (يقرئنا) (٢) القرآن في (المجلس) (٣) ثم يجلس بعده (يحدث) (٤) الناس (٥).
Hazrat Muslim narrates that Hazrat Masruq said: Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) used to teach us the Qur'an in the mosque, and after that he would sit and strengthen the faith of the people.
Hadith 32309
٣٢٣٠٩ - حدثنا يحيى بن آدم قال: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن حميد قال: سمعت أبا إسحاق يقول: أقرأ أبو عبد الرحمن السلمي القرآن في المسجد أربعين سنة.
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Humaid narrates that I heard Hazrat Abu Ishaq saying that Hazrat Abu Abdur Rahman taught the Qur'an in the mosque for forty years.
