Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Darda narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever recites one hundred verses of the Qur'an at night will not be written among the heedless; and whoever recites two hundred verses will be written among the obedient; and whoever recites from five hundred up to one thousand verses will wake up in such a state that a great reward will be written in his record of deeds, the measure of which is that one qirat will be like a huge mound.

Hazrat Salim bin Abi Al-Ja'd narrates that Hazrat Mu'adh said: Whoever recites three hundred verses at night will be written among the obedient, and whoever recites one thousand verses will have two heaps of reward, each qirat of which is better and greater than everything present on the earth.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Zumrah narrates that Hazrat Ka'b said: Whoever recites one hundred verses at night will be recorded among the obedient ones.

Hazrat Abu Hazim narrates that Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever recites one hundred verses at night will not be counted among the heedless, and whoever recites two hundred verses will be written among the obedient.

Hazrat Abu Al-Ahwas narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever recites fifty verses at night will not be counted among the heedless. And whoever recites one hundred verses will be written among the obedient, and whoever recites three hundred verses, a heap of reward will be written for him. And whoever recites seven hundred verses, the door of Paradise will be opened for him.

Hazrat Abu Salih narrates that Hazrat Abu Hurairah said: Whoever recites one hundred verses at night will not be counted among the heedless, and whoever recites two hundred verses will be written among the obedient.

Hazrat Jadali narrates that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Whoever recites ten verses during the night will not be counted among the heedless.
