Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Burdah narrates that I heard Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) saying that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would come out of the toilet, he would say: O Allah! I ask You for forgiveness.

Ibrahim Taimi narrates that when Prophet Nuh would finish from the toilet, he would supplicate as follows: All praise is for Allah who removed from me that which causes harm and granted me relief.

Hazrat Awam narrates that it has been conveyed to me that Hazrat Nuh used to supplicate in this way: All praise is for Allah who made me taste the delight, kept its benefit within me, and removed the harmful thing from me.

Hazrat Abu Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) would come out of the toilet, he would supplicate as follows: All praise is for Allah alone, Who removed from me that which was harmful and granted me relief.

Hazrat Tawus narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When any one of you comes out of the toilet, he should supplicate as follows: All praise is due to Allah who removed from me that which was harmful and withheld that which is beneficial to me.

Hazrat Minhal bin Amr narrates that when Hazrat Abu Darda would come out of the toilet, he would supplicate as follows: All praise is for Allah who removed hardship from me and granted me relief.

Hazrat Dhahhak narrates that when Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) would come out of the toilet, he would supplicate as follows: All praise is for Allah who removed from me that which causes harm and granted me relief.
