Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter the toilet, he would recite this supplication: "O Allah! I seek refuge with You from evil jinn, whether male or female."

Hazrat Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, these toilets and similar places are spots where jinn and others are present. So whenever any one of you enters the toilet, he should say: O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the evil jinn, whether male or female.

A student of Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he said: When you enter the toilet and intend to remove your clothes, then say: O Allah! I seek Your protection from filth and impurity, from evil jinn whether male or female, and from the accursed devil.

Hazrat Dhahhak narrates that when Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) would enter the toilet, he would supplicate as follows: I seek Allah’s protection from filth, impurity, evil jinn whether male or female, and from the accursed devil.

Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter the toilet, he would say: I enter with the name of Allah. O Allah! I seek Your protection from evil jinn, whether male or female.

Hazrat Zabraqan Al-Abdi narrates that Hazrat Dahhak said: When you enter the toilet, say this: O Allah! I seek Your protection from filth, impurity, evil jinn whether male or female, and from the accursed devil.
