Supplication of Sending Blessings on the Prophet ﷺ and Praising Allah Before Leaving a Gathering
Hadith 31797
٣١٧٩٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن مسعر عن عامر بن شقيق عن أبي وائل قال: ما شهد عبد اللَّه مجمعا (و) (١) لا مأدبة فيقوم حتى يحمد اللَّه ويصلي على النبي ﷺ، وإن كان مما يتبع أغفل مكان في السوق فيجلس فيه (ويحمد) (٢) اللَّه ويصلي على النبي ﷺ (٣).
Hazrat Aamir bin Shaqeeq narrates that Hazrat Abu Wa'il said: If any servant of Allah attends a gathering or sits at a dining spread, then stands up and praises Allah and sends blessings upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and even if he goes to the most heedless place, such as the marketplace, and sits there, then he should praise Allah and send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
