Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No servant asks Allah for Paradise three times except that Paradise says, "O Allah! Admit him into Paradise." And no servant seeks refuge with Allah from Hell three times except that Hell says, "O Allah! Save him from me."

Hazrat Mas'ar narrates that Hazrat Abdul A'la (may Allah be pleased with him) al-Taymi said: Paradise and Hell both hear the call of the children of Adam. So when a person asks for Paradise, Paradise says, "O Allah! Admit him into me." And when he seeks refuge from Hell, Hell says, "O Allah! Grant him refuge from me."
