Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Ishaq narrates that Hazrat Hakam said: Whoever hears the caller announcing the standing for prayer, should supplicate as follows: O Allah! Lord of this complete call and the established prayer. Grant Muhammad his request on the Day of Resurrection. Because of this, he will be granted intercession.

Abu Hamza narrates that Hasan said: When you hear the muezzin say: "Indeed, the prayer has been established," then supplicate thus: O Allah! Lord of this complete call and the established prayer, grant Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) his request on the Day of Resurrection. No person supplicates this when the muezzin stands except that Allah will include that person in the intercession of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Day of Resurrection.

Hazrat Qatadah narrates that when Hazrat Usman heard the muezzin recite these words: "Indeed, the prayer has been established," he would say: "Very good, O those who speak justly, and welcome, O prayer." Then he would stand up for the prayer.

When Hazrat Mujahid heard the muezzin say: "Come to prayer," he would say: "With Allah's help." Then when the muezzin said: "Come to success," he would say: "There is no power to avoid sins and no strength to do good except with Allah's help."

Hazrat Abdullah bin Harith narrates that indeed the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to repeat as the muezzin recited. So when the muezzin said: "Come to prayer, come to success," the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: "There is no power to avoid sins and no strength to do good except with Allah's help."
