Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made a supplication for a man which reached him, his children, and his grandchildren.

Hazrat Yahya bin Saeed narrates that Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib said: Surely, after a person’s death, his rank is elevated because of the supplication of his child.

Abu Huraira narrates that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Indeed, a person's rank is raised in Paradise, so he says: O my Lord! How has this rank been granted to me? It will be said: This rank has been granted to you because of your son's seeking forgiveness for you.
