The Virtue of Seeking Intercession (Wasilah)
Hadith 31569
٣١٥٦٩ - حدثنا عبيد اللَّه بن موسى عن موسى بن عبيدة عن محمد بن عمرو بن عطاء عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول اللَّه صلى اللَّه وعليه (وسلم) (١): " (سلوا) (٢) اللَّه لي الوسيلة (لا يسألها) (٣) لي مؤمن في الدنيا إلا كنت له شهيدًا (أو) (٤) شفيعًا يوم القيامة" (٥).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Ask Allah to grant me intercession. No believer asks for this for me in this world except that on the Day of Judgment I will be his witness or intercessor.
