Hadith 31558
It is narrated from Hazrat Husain that Ibrahim and Hazrat Mujahid met, and both said that a Bedouin came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and complained to him of hunger. The narrator says: So the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered his houses and then came out and said: I did not find anything for you in the houses of the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The narrator says: In the meantime, suddenly a roasted kid goat was brought to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And another narrator says: A bowl of tharid was brought. So it was placed before the Bedouin. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Eat. The narrator says: So he ate, then said, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! The calamity that had befallen me has now passed. Then Allah provided me sustenance through your hands. So what do you say, if I am afflicted by hunger again and I am not with you? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Recite these words: O Allah! I ask You for Your bounty and Your mercy. Surely, none possesses it except You. So surely Allah alone is the Provider for you.
Hadith 31559
Hazrat Wa’il bin Dawood narrates that I heard Hasan Basri describing that there was a man among us who saw in a dream that a caller announced from the sky: O people! Take up your weapons for your fear and anxiety. Then the people intended to do so and took up their weapons. Until a man came who did not even have a staff. Then a caller announced from the sky: These are not the weapons for your anxiety. So a person from among the people of the earth asked: What are the weapons for our anxiety? He said: These are the words: Allah is free from all defects, and all praise is for Allah, and there is no deity except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.
