Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say these words while he was reclining against my chest: O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, and join me with the Highest Companion.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, he would frequently supplicate with this prayer: O Allah! I declare Your purity and praise You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says, I asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! What are these words that you are reciting? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: A sign has been set for me regarding my Ummah, that when I see it, I will recite this Surah: When the help of Allah and victory comes.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was near death, and there was a bowl of water near him, he put his hand into the bowl and wiped his face with the water. Then he began to supplicate: O Allah! Protect me from the agonies of death.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) became burdened by illness, he supplicated: O Allah! Forgive me, and join me with the Highest Companion. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Thus, this was the last sentence I heard from the speech of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
