Hazrat Ka'b bin Ujrah narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: There are some words that follow after (the prayer), whose reciter is never in loss: After every prayer, say Subhan Allah thirty-three times (33), Alhamdulillah thirty-three times (33), and Allahu Akbar thirty-four times (34).

Hazrat Hakam, on the authority of Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila, narrates the statement of Hazrat Ka'b bin Ujrah: There are three phrases such that the one who says them, or he said, 'those who say them', will not be losers: Saying Subhan Allah thirty-three (33) times, and saying Alhamdulillah thirty-three (33) times, and saying Allahu Akbar thirty-four (34) times after every prayer. Hazrat Hakam says: After that, I never abandoned these phrases.

Hazrat Taislah narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Whoever, after performing the prayer, remains seated in his place and recites these words: Allah is the Greatest, as many times as odd and even numbers, and Allah’s words are complete, pure, and full of blessings. Three times. And there is no deity except Allah, three times. Then these words will become light for that person in the grave, and light on the Bridge of Sirat, until he is admitted into Paradise, or he said: he will enter Paradise.

And Your forbearance and patience became great, then You forgave, so all praise is for You alone. And Your hand became generous, then You bestowed, so all praise is for You alone. Our Lord! Your face is the most honored among all faces, and Your rank is better than all those who have rank, and Your gift is the best and most beneficial gift. When our Lord is obeyed, He is grateful, and when our Lord is disobeyed, He forgives, and He answers the call of the compelled and distressed, and You remove calamity and hardship, and You grant healing to the sick, and You forgive the sins of whomsoever You will. No one can repay Your blessings, and no speaker can enumerate Your blessings. All these words he used to say after the obligatory prayers."

Hazrat Umair bin Saeed narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) used to supplicate with these prayers after Tashahhud in prayer: O Allah! I ask You for all good, whether I know it or not, and I seek refuge in You from all evil, whether I know it or not. O Allah! I ask You for the good which Your righteous servants have asked of You, and I seek refuge in You from the evil from which Your righteous servants have sought refuge. O our Lord! Grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire. O our Lord! We have believed, so forgive us our sins, and remove our evils from us, and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Surely, You do not break Your promise.

Hazrat Shu'bah says: I do not know whether he first said "Allah is the Greatest" or he said thus: "All praise is for Allah alone, praise that is pure and blessed. There is no god except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and for Him is all praise, and He has power over all things. O Allah! I ask You for all good." Hazrat Warad, who was the freed slave of Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu’bah, narrates: Hazrat Mu’awiyah wrote a letter to Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu’bah and asked: What words did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say after concluding the prayer with salam? Hazrat Warad says that Hazrat Mughirah dictated those words to me, and he says that then I wrote those words and sent them to Hazrat Mu’awiyah. Indeed, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would conclude the prayer with salam, he would say: “There is no god except Allah, who is alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and for Him are all praises, and He is powerful over everything. So I said to him: I have also heard Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) say the same words that you have recited. Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recite these words at the end of the prayer.

There is no power to avoid sins and no strength to do good except with Allah’s help, and we worship Him alone, His is the blessing, and His is the grace, and for Him is the best praise. There is no deity except Allah alone, adopting sincerity for the religion, even if the disbelievers dislike it. Then Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite these words after every prayer.

My hands also remain in pain because of grinding the mill.” Then Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said to her: “Go to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), for indeed a few slaves have come to him. Go to him, perhaps he will grant you a servant for help.” Then both of them went to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When they arrived, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Have you both come to me so that I may grant you a servant for help? Surely, I will soon tell you something that is better for you than a servant. And if you wish, I will tell you something that is better for you than a servant: After every prayer and when you lie down at night on your bed, say Subhan Allah thirty-three (33) times, Alhamdulillah thirty-three (33) times, and Allahu Akbar thirty-four (34) times, so that they become a complete hundred (100).” Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says: “I do not remember ever abandoning these words after that.” Upon this, Abdullah bin al-Kawwa’ asked: “Not even on the night of the Battle of Siffin?” So Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: “O people of Iraq! May Allah destroy you, not even on the night of the Battle of Siffin.”
Hadith 31229

Both are easy, yet those who do them are few." It was asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What are those two habits?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They are the five prayers. Whoever, after every prayer, says Subhan Allah ten times, Alhamdulillah ten times, and Allahu Akbar ten times, then in terms of what is uttered by the tongue, it will be one hundred and fifty (150), and in terms of weight on the scale, it will be one thousand five hundred (1500)." Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) counting them on his fingers." "And the second good habit is that when a person lies down on his bed at night, he says Subhan Allah thirty-three times, Alhamdulillah thirty-three times, and Allahu Akbar thirty-four times. So, in terms of what is uttered by the tongue, it will be one hundred (100), and in terms of weight on the scale, it will be one thousand." "So, who among you commits two and a half thousand sins at night?"

They pray as we pray, they fast as we fast, they perform Hajj as we perform Hajj, and they also give charity, but we do not possess enough wealth to give charity." Hazrat Abu Darda says, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you something, which if you do, you will reach the reward of those who have surpassed you, and after you, only those who do the same will reach your reward: After every prayer, say Subhan Allah thirty-three times, Alhamdulillah thirty-three times, and Allahu Akbar thirty-four times."

Surely, You are my Master.
