Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair narrates that a man invited a person from the tribe of Huzail. One of their slave girls was going to cut wood. That person intended to do something wrong with the slave girl, so she struck him with a stone and killed him. Then this matter was presented before Hazrat Umar bin Khattab, so he said: He is Allah's slain one; his blood money will never be paid.

Hazrat Saib bin Yazid narrates that a man intended to commit an immoral act with a woman, so she picked up a stone and struck him, killing him. This matter was presented before Hazrat Umar, who said: He is Allah’s slain one.

Hazrat Sulaiman bin Yasar narrates that a woman from Syria came to Hazrat Dahhak bin Qais and began to mention before him that a man had made her open her door. The woman called for help, but no one came to her aid, and it was during the winter days. So she opened the door for him and, lifting a millstone, struck him with it, causing the man to die. Then Hazrat Dahhak sent someone with the woman, and it turned out that the man was a thief from among the thieves and he had stolen goods with him. Thus, Hazrat Dahhak declared his blood to be void (i.e., not subject to retaliation).
