Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Aun narrates that Hazrat Ibn Sirin said: The Companions would hold liable in the case of trampling, but would not hold liable in the case of striking with the animal's hoof.

Hazrat Mansur narrates that Ibrahim said: The owner of the animal will not be held liable if the animal causes harm with its hoof.

Hazrat Ibn Sirin states that Hazrat Shurayh declared the owner blameless in the case where the animal struck with its hoof.
