Hazrat Zaid bin Aslam said that in the tip of the nose and in the septum between the two nostrils, there is one third of the nose's blood money (diyah).

Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit said that there is diyah for all three partitions of the nose, and for one partition there is one third of the diyah.

Hazrat Mujahid said that for the cutting of the tip of the nose, one third of the blood money (diyah) is due, and if along with the tip, the cartilage or any other part is also injured, then as long as the wound does not reach the bone, the blood money will be according to the extent of the injury.

Hazrat Ibn Jurayj said that I asked Ata whether an internal wound inside the nose is also considered, and he replied, "Yes, it is."

It is narrated from Hazrat Mujahid that he used to say that for an internal wound of the nose, one-third of the blood money (diyah) is prescribed. Then, if it increases, he used to say two-thirds.
