Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) used to prescribe four camels as compensation for such a wound in which the bone was not clearly exposed, but it was close to being revealed.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding such a wound that reaches the thin membrane which covers the bone, that four camels are prescribed, and Hakam has also narrated from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in the same manner.

Hazrat Umar and Usman gave the verdict of half diyat for a "Maltah" wound, that is, a wound in which the bone was close to being exposed but was not, and for a wound in which the bone becomes visible.

Ibrahim said that for an injury less than a wound to the head or face, reconciliation is allowed.

Hazrat Aamir said that for a wound on the head or face in which the bone is not exposed, the fee of the physician is applicable.

Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz wrote that for any wound on the head or face in which the bone is not exposed, there is no blood money, except for the fee of the physician.

Ibrahim said that for a wound on the face or head in which the bone is not exposed, there is a prescribed ruling.

Hazrat Masruq said that for a wound on the face or head in which the bone is not exposed, only the fee of the physician will be given.

Hazrat A'mash said that I asked Ibrahim about a scratch or something similar, so he replied that there is reconciliation in it as long as it does not reach the amount of blood money (diyah).

Hazrat Ash'ath said that Hasan would not consider anything obligatory for a wound on the head or face in which the bone was not exposed.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibrahim bin Abi Ablah that Hazrat Mu'adh and Umar fixed the fee for the physician for a wound on the head and face in which the bone is not exposed.
