Hadith 28050
٢٨٠٥٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن ابن (عمرو) (١) بن علقمة عن ابن أبي حسين قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا تقطع من كان يصل أباك، يطفي بذلك نورك إن ودك ود أبيك" (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Abi Husain narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not sever ties with those with whom your father maintained ties of kinship, for this will extinguish your light, because your relative is your father's relative."
Hadith 28051
٢٨٠٥١ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن هارون بن (عنترة) (١) عن عون بن عبد اللَّه قال: قال عبد اللَّه: صل من كان أبوك يواصل، فإن صلة (الميت) (٢) في قبره أن تصل من كان يواصل (٣).
Hazrat Awn bin Abdullah narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Maintain ties of kinship with those with whom your father maintained ties of kinship, because maintaining ties of kinship with the deceased in the grave is that you maintain ties with those with whom he used to maintain ties.
Hadith 28052
٢٨٠٥٢ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن ثابت عن بلال عن أبيه قال: من صلة الرجل أباه أن يصل إخوانه الذين كان يصلهم.
Hazrat Bilal narrates that his father, Hazrat Abu Burdah, said: Indeed, a man's maintaining ties of kinship with his father is that he maintains ties with his father's brothers, with whom his father himself maintained ties. Hazrat Hammad says: I think this is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa, and Hazrat Hammad was asked whether Bilal bin Abu Burdah is meant. He replied: Yes.
Hadith 28054
٢٨٠٥٤ - حدثنا ابن نمير قال: حدثنا هشام عن أبيه قال: مكتوب في التوراة (أحبب) (١) حبيبك وحبيب أبيك.
Hazrat Hisham states that his father, Hazrat Urwah, said: It is written in the Torah that you should love your beloved and the beloved of your father.
