Relieving Oneself on the Road
Hadith 28036
٢٨٠٣٦ - (حدثنا أبو بكر قال) (١): حدثنا أبو أسامة قال: حدثنا إسماعيل (عن) (٢) قيس قال: سمعت (سعدا) (٣) يقول: اتقوا هذي الملاعن (٤).
Hazrat Ismail bin Qais narrates that I heard Hazrat Saad saying: "Avoid these accursed places." Then Hazrat Ismail explained, meaning relieving oneself in the middle of the path.
Hadith 28038
٢٨٠٣٨ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن عاصم عن عون بن عبد اللَّه عن أبي هريرة قال: إياكم والملاعن، قالوا: وما الملاعن؛ قال: (الجلوس على قارعة) (١) الطريق وتحت (الشجرة) (٢) يستظل تحتها الراكب (٣).
Hazrat Awn bin Abdullah narrates that Hazrat Abu Hurairah said: "Avoid those accursed places." So the people asked: "What are the accursed places?" He replied: "Sitting in the middle of the road and sitting under that tree under which riders take shade."
Hadith 28039
٢٨٠٣٩ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا هشام عن الحسن عن جابر قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا تنزلوا على جواد الطريق ولا تقضوا عليها الحاجات" (١).
Hazrat Jabir narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Avoid staying in the middle of the road and do not relieve yourselves in such places.
